My Daddy was Sarah's Dad Brian's Big Brother - Bert. Having lost our Mum in 1959, we really lost touch with our family too. We tracked down Brian from time to time, but he proved very elusive! Sadly, the last time I managed to trace him, he had died 18 months earlier. We were so sad - particularly my Brother Graham, as Brian was like a big brother to him. However, the wonderful thing was that this led me to Sarah! We were so excited, and so looking forward to meeting up again. She was planning to raid Brenda's loft for photos etc., and we were going to have a grand reunion on that Tuesday....but when I checked my messages on Sunday to see if everything was set to go....the terrible news was there. I couldn't really believe it. We were devastated. Even through the few messages & emIls we exchanged, Sarah's lovely heart seemed to shine. And now she had been snatched away. I've now also chatted to our Auntie Brenda and when I get back from Australia in July, my sisters & I will go to see Brenda. I'll be thinking of you all, and light a candle in Brisbane for our Sarah.
